The New Classroom Building at the new Painted Desert Campus for Northland Pioneer College is the first community college building to be constructed at the new site which is replacing the abandoned campus in Holbrook. Accordingly, it has to service all of the programs and needs of the community college students, faculty and administration until the complete master plan can be built out.

Program
This 28,510 square foot building features a large 7,535 s.f. student Resource Center which includes the library and information processing areas, workroom and conference rooms. The building houses the student center and book store, the campus administration offices, faculty offices, computer information system facilities, science laboratories, faculty offices, and a variety of classrooms ranging in size from small seminar rooms to large lecture halls. It also includes the Total Learning Center which is designed to provide special educational assistance to students in a variety if settings, including computer aided instruction, one on one counseling and small group study.
