The Northland Pioneer College serves a diverse community in northern Arizona, with four principal campuses and several educational centers. The Silver Creek campus was selected as the magnet campus for the district performing arts program.

Program
This 28,000 s.f. facility is designed to project the image of that goal. The 800 seat black box is the center piece of the building. It is designed to serve the performing arts needs of the college and the local community by providing a venue for theater and concert productions. The hall is designed to serve in two primary modes, first as a conventional proscenium theater and second as a theater in the round. This unusual flexibility was attained by providing a complete stage rigging system, a cross batten ceiling grid with numerous suspended catwalks and light battens\ which cover the entire performance space. Supporting the primary performance functions are a generous lobby with interior and exterior ticket booths, public toilet rooms and concession areas, music and drama instruction classrooms, theater rehearsal and music rehearsal rooms, offices, control suites, instrument storage and repair rooms, men and women actors dressing, make up, shower and rest room areas.
